The modernist grade 2* listed Whittingon Estate is on Dartmouth Park Hill N19 next to Highgate Cemetery, 10 minutes walk from Hampstead Heath and Highgate Village and adjacent to the beautiful Waterlow Park. It was built in the mid 1970s in a modernist style with stepped levels and large balconies. The landscaped gardens are a major feature which complement and soften the strong lines of the architecture.

The estate is well lit at night and is generally safe and quiet. Foxes wander about at night but are not seen during the day. Squirrels are about in the early morning. There are wood pigeons and magpies, and greenfinches and tits in the spring.
